| Recently, I read "La Part des Autres" of Schmitt, who imagines life if Hitler had been accepted at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, that is a man quite correct and cultured. This is a book that I find interesting because the author seeks to show that everyone is capable of doing evil, even to Hitler, if circumstances permit. | |

This is a book that I find interesting because the author seeks to show that everyone is capable of doing evil, even to Hitler, if circumstances permit. I have heared about that book. But what I dislike is, that he writes in his book that without Hitler, the Nazis had never been controlled Germany. But well - Hitler was only the head of the NSDAP - even without him there had been a Nazi-gouvernment in Germany. The reasons for the nazi-Thinking in Germany had nothing to do with Hitler - more with the contracts of Versaille and the restrictions against Germany. But anyways you are right - everyone is able to become evil - it depends on what happens to you in life... | |

| I read a book called Luna (by Julie Anne Peters). Don't remember where I got it from... Does anyone of u know it? It's about a boy who wants to be a girl / who is a girl inside (transsexual). It was very interesting...I never really read something about that topic before. I liked the book very much! | |

| At the moment I am reading "Life of Galileo" of Bertholt Brecht. The book is ok but really boring. Thank god it is really thin. The only reason why I am reading it is that it is one of two set books for the exams of the secundary education... btw, a sentence of my German teacher: "Florian, I don't know why you want newer books as set books. Homo Faber (The other set book) is written in 1957..." Loool | |

| I am now reading "The way to the renufication" by the former German president Richard von Weizsäcker. A really intresting book about German history that makes me understanding better the actual situation of peoples thinking in Germany and foreign politics, not only from Germany, but many other countries too... | |
